Seeking an energetic Speech Language Pathologist to join our team today. We have exciting, great paying opportunities across the U.S.! Currently Seeking a Speech Therapist for  a 13 week contract. Setting: Homecare.

Job Duties

Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) are healthcare professionals who work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders. They also provide education and training to families, caregivers, and other professionals. Some of their responsibilities include: 

Conducting screenings: SLPs assess a client's speech and swallowing challenges through screenings. 

Developing treatment plans: SLPs create individualized treatment plans for each client. 

Providing therapy: SLPs provide therapy to help clients improve their communication skills. Educating clients and families: SLPs educate clients and their families about speech disorders and their causes. 

Treating cognitive impairments: 

Education

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college/university. 

Experience & Skills Required

1-2 years experience as SLP

Certifications

State of Connecticut: License in Speech/Language Pathology required. 

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)

Current BLS/CPR from American Heart Association required

Languages

English
