Job Duties

  • Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence, offering suggestions and opinions and identifying correct parts
  • Completes sales by entering purchased items into sales/inventory system; obtaining payment; adding purchase to credit account; issuing sales receipts
  • Establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing prompt and courteous service for all customers and potential customers by phone or e-mail
  • Assisting warehouse staff in picking and packing when workload requires, example: ordering picking, cycle counting, shipping/receiving tasks
  • Sells parts by taking and clarifying customer orders; retrieving and selling new and replacement parts; receiving and recording new parts inventory; maintaining parts databases; maintaining safe and secure environment
  • Works with SYSPRO to create accurate packing slips
  • Enter order data into SYSPRO system
  • Assist in keeping parts area clean and orderly
  • Assign OEM part numbers
  • Will assist with annual inventory count
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Education

High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience

Experience & Skills Required

  • Must have excellent computer skills and the ability to assist in Warehouse when workload and tasks require
  • Will need to have strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with various parts for CNC machines would be helpful, but not required
  • Experience in Parts Department environment
  • Must Have a Strong Customer Service Focus
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office required
