Job Duties
- Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence, offering suggestions and opinions and identifying correct parts
- Completes sales by entering purchased items into sales/inventory system; obtaining payment; adding purchase to credit account; issuing sales receipts
- Establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing prompt and courteous service for all customers and potential customers by phone or e-mail
- Assisting warehouse staff in picking and packing when workload requires, example: ordering picking, cycle counting, shipping/receiving tasks
- Sells parts by taking and clarifying customer orders; retrieving and selling new and replacement parts; receiving and recording new parts inventory; maintaining parts databases; maintaining safe and secure environment
- Works with SYSPRO to create accurate packing slips
- Enter order data into SYSPRO system
- Assist in keeping parts area clean and orderly
- Assign OEM part numbers
- Will assist with annual inventory count
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Education
High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
Experience & Skills Required
- Must have excellent computer skills and the ability to assist in Warehouse when workload and tasks require
- Will need to have strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with various parts for CNC machines would be helpful, but not required
- Experience in Parts Department environment
- Must Have a Strong Customer Service Focus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office required
