Opportunity Description
Main purpose is to assist in all tasks associated with the QC process. Monthly Inventory of media and supplies and generate a report
MUST HAVE MICROBIOLOGICAL EXPERIENCE. Specifically below;
USP <61> MICROBIOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF NONSTERILE PRODUCTS:
MICROBIAL ENUMERATION TESTS “ and (USP <62> MICROBIOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF NONSTERILE PRODUCTS:
TESTS FOR SPECIFIED MICROORGANISMS”.

Job Duties
- Monthly Environmental testing of facility.
- Monthly cleaning of hoods and equipment.
- Monthly calibration on Conductivity Orion probes.
- Routine Facility Water sampling & testing (Microbiological, TOC, Conductivity)
- Autoclave water apparatus, caps and rotor, bottles as needed.
- Maintenance of QC Micro supplies.
- Media Challenge upon receipt of new media.
- Maintenance of QC Microorganisms.
- Identification and Gram stain of isolates from Water or Environmental testing.
- Perform USP microbiological testing on release and stability drug product samples.
- Assist with raw material receipt and release.
- Participate in the packaging of tablets.
- Weekly collection and organization of Vaisala Area Event Logs.
- Box up and prepare medical waste for scheduled pickups.
- File completed employee training sheets.
Education
Bachelors degree
Experience & Skills Required
- 1-3 years experience in a GMP environment performing the following:
- Experience with routine environmental monitoring (viable & nonviable particle counts), water sampling/testing and microbial limits testing of product.
