Opportunity Description

Our client is an Academic Medical Center located in Brooklyn, NY.   We are seeking a talented Network Engineer with a CCNA Certification and expertise in Nexus and Wi-Fi technology to join our dynamic team.

You will work ONSITE - Monday through Friday - 9 am to 5 pm.

Must be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Must be able to work as W2. No third parties, please.

Job Duties

As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' network infrastructures. Your primary responsibilities will involve configuring and optimizing networking equipment, ensuring high availability and performance, and troubleshooting network-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess a CCNA Certification and hands-on experience with Nexus and Wi-Fi technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Network Design and Implementation:

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience as a Network Engineer.

Experience & Skills Required

  • CCNA Certification is required; additional certifications such as CCNP or CWNP are a plus.
  • Proven experience working with Cisco Nexus switches and Wi-Fi technology.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Familiarity with network security concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Certifications

    • CCNA Certification is required; additional certifications such as CCNP or CWNP are a plus.
