Opportunity Description
Experienced Human Resources Benefits Administrator needed for large organization located in Brooklyn, NY. This HR Benefits role will Coordinate all leave administration including disability and FMLA while providing excellent customer service in assisting associates with benefit issues, enrollment, qualifying life events, plan questions
Job Duties
- Coordinates all leave administration including disability and FMLA
- Assist associates with benefit issues, enrollment and plan questions
- Oversee the administration of COBRA, FSA ad HSA information from third party administrator
- Administer benefits deduction payroll processing and verification
- Work with the HR team in conducting benefit orientation for all new hires
- Prepare and execute on benefit documentation, benefit agreements and insurance policies
- Assure that existing and new benefit programs are adapted to standard computer and reporting systems
- Perform full scope of activities associated with the administration and communication of benefits plans, ensuring compliance with plan design and company policies
- Prepares employee benefits communications and education materials
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience & Skills Required
- 2+ year’s experience in a HR Benefits role
- Prior experience with FMLA, disability and leave coordination
- Microsoft Office
