Opportunity Description

Our client is at the forefront of innovation in medical science and is currently seeking an EHR Systems Analyst for the Operating Room Team. A System Analyst conducts systems analysis to determine user needs for systems applications, and formulates and designs system scope and objectives. In addition, a System Analyst may devise or modify procedures to resolve complex problems considering hardware/software capacity and limitations, operating time, and desired results to meet the needs of the user.

Job Duties

Responsibilities include the following: Day-to-day support, Training, Upgrade, and enhancements for OR (operating room) Allscripts SCM EMR.

Including:

· Design, code, test, document, and maintain complex applications.

· Design, test, and implementation of new system features and customizations.

· Writing of SQL query

Education

Bachelor's in Nursing, or 5 years experience supporting OR (peri-op or Surgical Systems).

Experience & Skills Required

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated initiative and flexibility to meet deadlines and end user expectations. The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to use relevant computer programs (MS Office, etc.).

Required Education:

4-year Degree in Computer Science or Engineering technical training

4-year Degree in Nursing (with additional Computer Science or Engineering technical training)

Required Experience:

3-5 years of Clinical Systems support Experience preferably in the OR (operating Room, Surgical Systems or Peri-op systems)
