Opportunity Description

Our client is well known company in the Bridgeport, CT area. They are looking to add an Accounting Coordinator to their team to ensure accuracy and timliness in the billing and accounts receivable process. 


Job Duties


  • Processing daily transactions and billing for all accounts while ensuring approriate documenation; purchase orders, invoices, receipts, etc
  • Verify accuracy and reconcile discrepancies in pricing, quantities, invoices, purchase orders, receipts etc
  • Work closely with accounts and other divisions of the company to ensure accuracy and flow of payments throughout the billing process
  • Maintain spreadsheet of running inventory and reconcile monthly
  • Process sales orders, billing and payments in the system and record expenses accordingly
  • Generate various accounting related reports as needed



Experience & Skills Required


  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or related business field preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant accounting related experience
  • Knowledge of various ERP systems and comfort using Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high volume deadline driven environment
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
