Opportunity Description

HumanEdge has partnered with an expanding Healthcare Benefits Management Company located in the Mid-Westchester area to hire customer service-oriented individuals to join their call center team!

Job Duties

Your role: 

  • Answering 50-70 inbound calls per day 
  • Speaking with healthcare providers in regards to benefit and eligibility, status checks, and case creation 
  • Performing research to identify current status and provide appropriate response 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements 
  • Meet the performance expectations established for the position; including call quality, productivity, provider satisfaction, first call resolution and attendance 

Experience & Skills Required

Role Requirements: 

  • Call center / customer service experience required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and/or healthcare insurance strongly preferred 
  • Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work 9:30am-6pm, Monday through Friday 
  • High School diploma required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
