HumanEdge has partnered with a transportation industry client to hire a Payroll Specialist for a temporary assignment in Yonkers, NY. The Payroll Specialist will prepare, process, and verify payroll.
- Perform various accounting duties as it relates to payroll, such as, auditing, calculating, coding, recording, balancing, summarizing, disbursing, and preparing reports and forms for multi-location process.
- Audit, prepare, enter, and maintain employee payroll related data in our system this will include tax and garnishment set-up.
- Assist with manual check preparation and stop payment orders as needed along with reviewing daily bank positive pay data.
- Create time files within our time and attendance system.
- Research and analyze all payroll issues.
- Troubleshoot and follow up with issues and regular payroll activities.
- Run the full scope of payroll process.
