Opportunity Description

HumanEdge has partnered with a busy, growing non-profit organization  in the West Palm Beach, FL area to hire an Administrative Assistant to provide general office support for a variety of clerical activities and tasks including answering incoming calls, general administrative support, QuickBooks, inventory, requisitioning supplies, organizing office communication and activities on a day-to-day basis. 

 

Job Duties

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Answer telephones and greeting visitors on occasion; manages reception area to maintain a professional image
  • Receive, sort and forward incoming mail
  • Enters donor information and funding into QuickBooks 
  • Type correspondence and reports; edit and update various spreadsheets
  • Maintain confidential records and files
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Assist with Setup/take down and attend company sponsored events 
  • Update/maintain social media and web site 

 

 

Experience & Skills Required

Qualifications and requirements:

  • High School diploma
  • Time management and multitasking skills
  • Computer literacy; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry
  • QuickBooks –min 1 year experience e
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Well-developed verbal, listening, and written communications skills
  • Ability to work independently or as a team player
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner
  • Ability to contend with a wide variety of people on various issues
  • 1-3 years previous experience in an office environment
