Opportunity Description

HumanEdge has partnered with a Parsippany, NJ client to hire a Commercial Sales Analyst to manage commercial forecast, develop sales and financial analytical reports, and support Sales & Category with project management and market analysis. 

Job Duties

  • Interacts with all internal Departments and external customers and contract manufacturers
  • Acts as the gatekeeper for all sales forecasts 
  • Manages and enters forecasts received from customers directly and ensures that all forecasts are completed by the Salesperson in the APO system 
  • Manage monthly sales forecast by reviewing monthly orders vs. forecasts and ensuring they are properly adjusted prior to month-end 
  • Prepares sales reports daily, weekly, monthly or as needed and distributes to Sales team, finance and category management 
  • Development of sales and financial analytical reports/tools including: 
    • Sales Reports and Analysis
    • Manage budget processing and analysis
  • Assist in House Accounts support 
  • Support Category reports and market analysis needs 
  • Researches, retrieves, and creates reports and spreadsheet analysis as required or requested from Sales Executives, VP of Sales, Director of Sales or Senior management 
  • Assists Director Sales Administration and Pricing Department as necessary with pricing and project review and provides back up
  • Acts as back up to Coordinators and assists when others are out or during heavy workload periods
  • Serves as a general source of all project information and coordinates among all departments involved
  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of information input into business systems 
  • Handles special tasks and projects as requested by sales and management in order to meet company objectives
  • Category Management and special requests
  • Supports and maintains the Company values and quality policy such as ISO procedures and manual
  • Interacts with; All internal departments, Director Sales Administration, Sales Executives, Sales Administration and Operations, Senior Management and Customers and Vendors 


Bachelor's Degree 

Experience & Skills Required

  • Project Management and Report Writing experience required
  • Oral and written communication skills 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Sales and forecasting skills 
  • Report writing skills
  • Strong Computer skills 
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
  • SAP, Business Objects and APO forecasting experienced preferred 
  • 5+ Years Fragrance Industry experience preferred
