Provide stellar customer service to existing accounts and prospective accounts and provide back up front desk receptionist duties

Job Duties

  • Educate customers about the quality of our product line, service and how it will benefit their business.
  • Introduce/sell products based on customer type and current menu offering via phone.
  • Introduce/sell new items launched.
  • Maintain a record of products placed through up-selling.
  • Maintain a record of new item placed.
  • All phases of order entry.
  • Keep line of communication open to sales people in the field and provide requested data to support sales.
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explain the best solution to solve problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
  • Manage and track payments.
  • Manage and track overdue collection.
  • Communicate to team/other departments the status of receivables.


High school diploma or GED required

Experience & Skills Required

  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
  • Some customer service experience, food industry  experience a ++
  • Must be self motivated
  • Able to work in a team oriented environment.
  • Multi-tasking
  • Analyzing information
  • Phone skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and
  • providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Knowledge of the food service industry preferred
