Opportunity Description
HumanEdge Allied Health Staffing is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to work in a school near the Bronx, NY.
- ASAP start date
- 15 hours per week position – may work 20 hours more hours on some weeks with supervisor approval
- Pre K-12th Grade caseload
- Full school-year contract
Job Duties
- Conducts evidence-based practices which target the goals and objectives of students’ IEPs
- Administers standardized and informal tests and screenings
- Collaborates with classroom teachers on speech-language disorders and curriculum demands
- Consults with the principal, nurse, occupational therapist, school psychologists, social workers, home- guidance counselor and special educators
Experience & Skills Required
- Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology
- Recent experience in a school-based setting
- ASHA Cs
